Footer ​

Overview ​

The footer has two halves. On the left: the logo, a newsletter form, your social links and the copyright line. On the right: three columns of links (a category list and two menus).

Left and right columns ​

Go to Admin -> Appearance -> Widgets.

  • Footer section left holds a Newsletter widget (its name is the text above the form) and a Socials widget.
  • Footer section right holds the link columns: a Categories menu widget (the 5 most popular blog categories) and two Custom Menu widgets, each showing one menu. Drag a widget to reorder the columns, open it to change the title or the menu, and add a new Custom Menu widget for a new column.

The menus themselves are edited in Admin -> Appearance -> Menus. See Menu and Widgets.

Footer widget areas

Go to Admin -> Appearance -> Theme Options.

  • Tab General: edit Copyright and Designed by (the text under the logo).
  • Tab Social links: add one row per network (name, icon, URL). The Socials widget shows them under the newsletter form. See General.
  • Tab Logo: the footer logo is the same logo as the header.
