Analytics ​

Integrate with Google Analytics.

There are two separate things:

  • Dashboard widgets: show your Google Analytics numbers (visitors, pages, referrers) on the admin dashboard.
  • Website tracking: add the tracking code to your site so Google Analytics counts your visitors.

Website tracking ​

Go to Admin -> Settings -> Website Tracking.

Choose one method: Google Tag Manager (recommended), Google Analytics Only (a GA4 Measurement ID) or Custom Tracking Code. The page lists the steps for each method.

Dashboard widgets ​

Go to Admin -> Settings -> Google Analytics.

Switch on Enable Dashboard Widgets, then fill Property ID for GA4 and Service Account Credentials: paste the content of the JSON key file, or use Upload Service Account JSON File. The panel on the right of the page repeats the steps:

  1. Go to the Google Cloud Console and create a service account.
  2. Download the JSON key file of the service account.
  3. Enable the Google Analytics Data API in your project.
  4. Go to Google Analytics and add the service account email as a Viewer of your property.
  5. Enter your GA4 Property ID, paste the JSON credentials and save.

Use Test Connection to check the values. The status boxes show whether the property ID and the credentials are configured.
